DISCLAIMER

Before making any decisions regarding your health, please review your ideas and confirm all data with a licensed medical professional. We are not doctors, and therefore may not give medical advice. All information contained within this site is to be used for educational purposes only.

Education & Integrity

That’s Poppycock is a 100% free resource for information about opioids. The active, narcotic ingredient in drugs like OxyContin, Percocet, and Vicodin fall into this class of drugs—the opioids. It is our goal to provide unbiased, reliable information about opioids. We are not affiliated with any organizations or companies, and only take information from noteworthy sources. We imagine that one day the public will have a deep understanding of this class of drugs, as to prevent addiction and dependence from occurring. It is only with great honor and integrity that we present this information to the public. We are here to serve you, the people.

Two Takes on Addiction

With respect to addiction, we have taken a dual-pronged approach. On one hand, we provide pill imprint guides to help parents and law enforcement identify drugs. To some this may be controversial or seemingly counterproductive; however, the next time a child tries to pass off Percocet as aspirin, we know we’ll have a place to find out what the mystery pill really contains. There are a few other web sites that currently do this, including pharmaceutical companies. We also preserve what we feel is the Holy Grail of approaches—abstinence. We believe that any drug addict or user can recover, and have a chance at a healthy, productive life.

Thank you…
