Requiem for a Dream - Four individuals with aspirations of greatness fall short when they give in to drug addiction. This movie is a sobering account of the ugliest side of a world not everyone lives in. Prostitution. Drug dealing. Jail. All for Lady H. Heroin. Starring Jared Leto, Jennifer Connelly, and Marlon Wayans.

Trainspotting - Renton is part of the Edinburgh drug scene. He lives the horrors of a bad heroin. The director did not hide any portion of the story: dirty toilets, dirty/bloody needles, constant fear of transmitted diseases (including AIDs), a dead baby, and severe hallucinations. The acting is great, but the movie is a bit hard to watch due to its graphic nature. Based on the novel by Irvine Welsh.
